Very good food 10 oz. ribeye, filet mignon, French onion soup took off one point for lack of atmosphere. It’s not dirty or anything, just plain. Would love to get a glass of wine, too! Service from Danielle was excellent. Restaurant was busy on a Thursday night but we were seated immediately. We are residents of Greeneville and have been there twice. View all feedback.
What Gerald Austin doesn't like about Butcher's Block:
The steak (14 OZ Ribeye) was tender but seemed almost too tender. Taste was good but seemed to be more of a taste from marinade than beef and salt. We are doing carnivore and I cheated on the iceberg lettuce salad (x2) it was of typical mom and pop size and quality. We tried this place years ago. It was about the same. Get there early!! At least 30 minutes before they open! It will be worth it! Great food and great service! They never disappoint! Big portions! Great price!
Absolutely the best place to get a steak. The flavor is fantastic!! Been going here for over thirty years and I live 45 minutes away. It is that good!!
