Sho nuff hot tamales are the best. Have never been disappointed. I have to take several dozen to my in-laws every time I visit them in Tennessee.

"This place was recommended to me by folks who live in the area. I read reviews on here (thank you Urbanspoon/Zomato friends) before dinner so I had an idea of what to expect. Historical old place, no menus, etc. I ordered the filet because I knew other cuts offered would be too much food for me by myself. My filet was a large thick cut (at least 16 oz, maybe more), super tender and cooked very nicely (medium rare). Steaks come with french fries, the french fries were okay but could have used some seasoning, I’m not much of a french fry person anyway; big steak cut french fries, tasted very fresh. I had a salad and the lemon oil dressing was delicious, the salad itself was basic iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and some red onion. I wanted a little something more besides fries so I ordered 6 broiled shrimp to go with my steak. Overall the food was delicious, however I do feel like the pricing was a little steep for the shrimp I got, I don’t like the idea of not being able to look at a menu (pricing) either, as other reviewers here have stated. My server was very nice and attentive, no complaints about service. I would recommend eating here, the people here are super nice, the food was great but be prepared to pay more than you would expect given the “hole in the wall” environment of the place."
