Black Forest Pastry Shop - Greenwich

After my Connecticut-based father casually mentioned a Black Forest Cake, I wanted to surprise him with a cake for his birthday. I found this adorable German bakery during an internet search of Connecticut bakeries. Dan was kind, professional, and able to have a cake ready for pickup in 24 hours. My father was thrilled and said this bakery is the best in the state. FaceTiming me, he ate half the cake in one sitting while muttering the words “moist, spongy layers,” “delicious mousse filling,” and “this is the real deal” between bites. Thank you for helping me make my father’s birthday special from all the way out in Colorado. I will be sure to visit the bakery in person next time I’m in Connecticut,

Each time I am in Greenwich, this is one of my favorite German American Pastry Shops. The great Assortment of pastries, cakes and special orders is done with such excellence. My kids loved this place since they were tiny toddlers, their favorite was always the Black Forrest cake, moist, finger licking, mouthwatering and rich traditional German Cake. Sales people are Knowledgeable and very friendly. It is a place to be experienced.

Great customer service, answered all my questions and made suggestions. Pass on the danish they don't do that well. Buy the cakes! The black forest cake is amazing! I actually never tried it before here and was pleasantly surprised. I will return for cake.

I love this place. There were a number if German bakeries when I was a child that sadly are long gone. I love that this place is here for me to take my kids too. It's delicious.

Very good!! If I go inside and see all that!!! Than I can't wait! They got only one little table and couple seats in the corner and is always available for me and my wife. We getting our favorite pastries, couple coffee and.... what can be better in winter day?? Summer day as well
