While holidaying in London we decided to take the new Elizabeth line to Woolwich and explore that area. Fabulous air conditioned tube line and first class tube stations. What a surprise when you exit the station and come out to a great open development area. My friend and I visited for dinner on a Thursday evening. Outside drinking area was busy but inside dining area was large and fairly empty. Food is nice albeit a little pricey but the service was poor. Very few staff passed by our area and those that did preferred to avoid our gaze or rushed by.
