I have been to this location 3 times now and each time we have been pleased with the service and friendliness of staff. The food is cooked well, and the prices are beyond reasonable for this type of cuisine. In my opinion, the filet mignon is the best to order off of the hibachi menu. What Nikolaj C doesn't like about House Of Tokyo:
The fact that everything is so smothered in teriyaki or not at all to the point of near tastelessness. It's a GERD nightmare last time I ordered through doordash. An hour later and six failed dashers my order was cancelled. No explanation, haven't ordered since. View all feedback.
Have been eating there since 1994. It has moved since but the food is GREAT! Love this place
I've always liked going to House of Tokyo but never posted a review. After the years I've realized it's time for some renovations. Food is still good besides the shrimp it's always very strong tasting almost chemical tasting. Everything else has been good and not really changed, service has always been good and the atmosphere is what to expect from a hibachi restaurant. The bathrooms need updated as well but everything else is decent.
The very best Asian food on the Southside of Indianapolis. “Hi” the owner is always present and has great attention to detail. One of my absolute favourite restaurants!!
Great tasting food! Group of 9- we were seated quickly and had a great dinner. Everything was wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. 10 stars on the ginger salad dressing!! (delicious and lots of it!
Dinner tonight was delicious! This was my first time here. Party of 4 and 1 very nice couple joined the table. Host was kind, chef was wonderful and made great conversation. I suggest you go early (we arrived at 4:30 bc it gets super duper major busy real fast. Our very picky 9 year old loved his food (super win! and getting to see the chef make it. He already wants to plan a return trip. :
