While some diners praise the accommodating service and variety of menu options, others express disappointment in the quality of the food and slow service. Despite these mixed reviews, the restaurant appears to have potential with a new Chinese menu, large portions, and reasonably priced dishes. The sushi receives high marks for its quality, and the owner's presence adds a personal touch to the dining experience. Overall, Rice Bistro may be worth a visit for those looking for a range of food options and attentive service.
My girlfriend took me here for lunch (my first time) and it was good. I specially enjoy their bento box of tuna sushi, mix tempura and curry chicken with brown rice. Yum! Service and atmosphere is nice.
Rice Bistro, formerly Lo Coastal Fusion, has a great new Chinese menu. They serve large portions that are resonably priced. They still have sushi but I didn’t see anyone eating it. The shrimp and scallop dish was excellent. Very lightly fried and in a sauce that is hard to describe, but delicious. They have a good wine list and several beers on tap. Very good service and the owner was very visible and approachable to chat with, if you wanted to. It’s easy to get a table now, because it’s new. But that won’t be the case for long.
Great spot for sushi and other delicious Asian dishes. Some innovative rolls, plus good quality standard sushi fare. Service was great...had a good time
We love this restaurant, the sushi is wonderful as is everything we've ever ordered
Overpriced for very typical Asian food. The waiter asked if I wanted my wine refreshed when it was half full which was confusing so I said sure! He came out with another full glass f wine and then carted another Will not he going again! Dinner with an app, maki rolls, one entree, and cocktail and glasses of wine was Crazy and I'm from the Bay Area!!
