Have eaten here quite a few times as well as had the huckabuck. The gumbo is original and has it's own New Orleans flare while the huckabuck is a delicious additive to complete your meal. After reading the reviews I was really excited to try their gumbo. I was extremely disappointed the chicken and sausage gumbo was a tomato base not from a rue. The other gumbo did not have any seafood in it and little to no meat. The rice is minute rice this is by far not original New Orleans food.
