"Our daughter, who lives in Salzburg, recommended this place for best seafood around Hallein. The restaurant is small, but cozy. The decor is simple, but cute. Parking is, however, quite difficult to find. The food is absolutely delicious. Definitely fresh seafood. Wines are only recommended. We go to Salzburg every year and from now on a dinner to Konoba is now part of our itinerary!"

"I ordered a 500g ribeye, hard meat, too cooked on the sides, I spent 37 euros for this steak and I claim it is tender and tasty. The waiter asked me how he was going, and I showed him, but he didn't change it, and he didn't take anything. Plus above the steak was full of spices that I think spoil the meat. I don't know if it was a case or because we're tourists anyway."

"Don't hesitate to ask them for the flavors that you want! They're geniuses. I don't know how they they did it but with just couple of vague pointers from my side I had cocktails that were so perfect they filled a hole in my soul. This place was the highlight of my trip in Salzburg."

"Das Ambiente ist wunderbar gemütlich gestaltet und der Küchenchef Max ist ein sehr sympathischer Kerl und nimmt sich Zeit für seine Gäste. Ein großes Lob außerdem, dass es immer Vegetarische Gerichte auf der Karte gibt. Klar sind die Preise kein Pappenstiel, aber dafür kann man echt eine fantastische Qualität und außergewöhnliche Gerichte erwarten. Ich habe bis jetzt noch nie etwas gegessen, was schlecht geschmeckt hat, alles war eine geschmackliche Punktlandung!!"

"Nice and friendly staff, they know a lot about veganism (one of the owners is vegan). when I was there, I could choose between 3 different vegan cakes and there are also vegan milk for coffee. gluten-free cakes are also available!"
