Looks to have a new property and is now called to receive Osteria Eboli in a large lounge atmosphere They spectacular Italian meals with high variety, good service and lots of attention. From fresh fish to good meat, pizza and pasta and creative salads. Dogs are allowed, children are welcome as in any good Italian restaurant in Italy. Great place, but elevated prices. Business lunch available. View all feedback.
What Andreane Spinka doesn't like about Bistro Eboli:
As a child my family would frequent the Eboli for special nights out. Their veal Parmesan was huge and everything sparkled with flavor. So on a recent trip back to Munich I made a visit to my old favorite a priority. Sadly, time has changed things. There wasn't a veal parmesan but there was a standard schnitzel. The portion was small. So I ended up ordering a pizza too. The wait staff didn't pay much attention to me.... View all feedback.
We descended on this place on our second night in Gruenwald and had spent all day on a tour to Neuschwanstein Castle so definitely had a post tour bus look about us- 'a little creased around the edges mussed up hair and a bit sweaty from too many clothes and walking in the autumn sunshine. We were hungry and thirsty. The front of house staff looked a little askance but couldn 't be too choosy as there appeared to be few bookings that night and we of course were making the odd nervous joke about the similarity of the name and the spread of the virulent disease of a similar name that seemed to be following us from capital city to capital city. Tonight was for sustenance. Barvarian beer and goulash for lunch seemed like eternity ago so were were prepared to munch our way through a large pizza please. We spied some glamorous looking mains and the table service was set for formality but we just wanted what we got. A steaming, crispy, cheesy pizza with lovely hot sopressa and a lovely rocket, pear and goats cheese salad to accompany. A glass or two of prosecco and we were done. I would return to try other dishes but noted that it was reasonably expensive for what we ate. Service was interesting in that they obviously thought us a little less well attired than some of the other patrons but no one was going to refuse our Visa card.

The portion was small. So I ended up ordering a pizza too. The wait staff didn't pay much attention to me. The restaurant was almost empty as I was one of the first customers of the day. But they did seem attentive to others who were probably regulars. The food is ok, but I certainly won't be going out of my way to visit again.
Food just OK nothing extraordinary. portions small for the price.
