Charlie and his team have put together a varied menu which should cater for all tastes and never fails to please. If you are aware of Swiss prices then this would be in the mid tier pricing category but for those not used to the...high cost of living it may come as a shock to receive a bill higher than similar restaurants in the UK. They feel like home in a benevolent restaurant, with his smiles he can melt all the mountain spizza freshly supported in the many. also many other good foods like salat Burger-Ekt.
My husband and I ate here many years ago and recently returned and found the same people running it which was lovely. Very welcoming. Helpful waiter pleasant surrounding and clean toilets. The ribs were fabulous and escargot fresh and tasty. Also ate pizza which was...crisp and tasty.
Have visited a few times during the past winter and never been disappointed. Great friendly service, a super menu with a lot of choice and good value. We've ordered various dishes including pizza, pasta, fish, salads, meat and it's always been great.

Everytime we come to Barboleuse we come here for a meal. I decided to try something new as I already knew the pizzas were great. I chose the pasta aglio e olio which was tagliatelle with olive oil, garlic and chilli. It was delicious but very spicy. My father had the Italian twist on the steak tartare with chips and loved it (it had basil and partisan cheese.) The prices are reasonable. We would recommend eating here if you visit the villars gryon area.
