"Tucked away in a sunken downtown office building, this hidden gem is a great place to hang out and have the best poutine in the region. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. They have a courtyard that makes the restaurant feel very unique to other places for pub grub and a beer. Their poutine is always consistently delicious at both locations. This time we finally had the opportunity to try their fries straight from the kitchen as opposed to waiting for delivery since the pandemic started!"

"Absolutely wonderful everyone made welcome. Not only is the food amazing and varied and absolutely delicious and plentiful, the owner and staff makes everyone welcome. Each time I've been, there have been singles eating alone, couples, small groups and occasionally larger groups, everyone enjoying the ambiance and getting served quickly. A quick look around the room and you can tell everyone is enjoying whatever they've ordered. Give these folks a try. They are not expensive! And the food you can't finish tastes divine the next day."

"Tonns of goodies in there. Love their boston creams! I also get their Garlic and cheese loaf... next level.Only suggestion is... Make sure you eat your jelly filled doughnuts quick or else it starts to soften the bottom a bit."

"As a UoG student, I frequent this restaurant for special events or simply to take my parents out for dinner when they visit, Friday's prime rib special is a steal and always delicious here and even for all the other nights of the week, my friends and I always find the food excellent! It is a little outside of the regular student budget, but it will not fail to deliver value and quality with the friendly service and cozy environment of an old house turned restaurant atmosphere."
