"I have never left a review before for anything. This time I feel I have to, because I’m actually extremely disappointed. I got a grapefruit ice cream. Usually I would probably have asked to taste it before, but as I am in a place from a brand I truly respected, my first intuition was trust it and get that ice cream. Once I sat down and taste it, it didn’t taste like grapefruit at all, it pretty much tasted just like pure sugar. I go to the counter very politely and ask if I could please change to another flavour and explained why... I pretty much encountered with a fast zero empathy nor hesitation as a “no, sorry. You could have asked to taste it before”. I even asked to ask her colleague who actually sold me the ice cream. And she came back again with a harsh no. We are talking about one rather small scoop of ice cream. It was a harsh “no”, I felt as if it was my fault for not having ask to taste it before. Which they pretty much said I should have. I asked the lady if she had taste this specific flavour before so she can proof what I was saying. She said ‘no’ and repeated I should have asked to taste before. Incredible what the lack of a good and kind customer service can do, it can change not only the experience of a brand forever, but how it can actually impacts having a nice day when you were just happy wanting to pamper yourself and in a mood to really enjoy an ice cream on a sunny day. People forget sadly the important impact of kindness in the world, needless to say if you have a business and actually want to make your customers happy and offer not only quality products but a good service. I unfortunately experienced the total opposite of that today. Oh yes, and I pretty much lost 32dkk, because I could obviously not eat something that tasted just like cold sugar. I hope my review helps to improve your service and quality."
