What User likes about El Saltillo Mexican:
There are three El Saltillo restaurants that I know of. I really like the one in Orange Grove on US Hwy 49. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is good, and the food is excellent. I try to vary my menu choices but, the fried shrimp is to die for. It is fried in a tempura type batter and served with Spanish rice, guacamole salad, and French fries. What chip g doesn't like about El Saltillo Mexican:
We frequently visit the El Saltillo on Cedar Lake rd and have always enjoyed it. So we decided to try the El Saltillo on hwy 49. While this one isn't terrible, it is just mediocre at best. It was crowded and overly loud. The service wasn't bad, just alittle slow. It seems odd that some tables have salt and pepper on them but many don't. I think from now on we will stick tothe Cedar Lake location. read more.
