Small family winery that sells more grapes rather than makes wine, next to a small restaurant. You need to enq/pre book if eating. As it sits next to the Chain of Ponds winery (big brother) it appears to get less patronage as people drive past but...I bought some 2014 Sangiovese at COP and then some at Scaffidi at half the cost but equally awesome. Stopped for food on a public holiday. Essentially ignored by two young waitresses, until one finally directed us to the bar. Greeted there and directed to a table, given menus and water and then ignored for over 20 minutes. Limited menu but found something to have, but no one wanted to take our order!
