In beautiful weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area.

What User doesn't like about Gundaroo Colonial Inn:
I had been dying to try the new restaurant so we headed out for my birthday. We were so disappointed with the food ???? my enchilada was a big burnt roll of black beans, my husbands medium rare steak was crucified and our friends on our table who ordered just after us finally got their meals after we were all well and truly done eating. I wandered in, hoping for a quality coffee but prepared to have a safer option of hot chocolate, but when i asked about the coffee the barista, Josh, offered a medium/dark blend for milk or fruity single origin, I knew I was in the right place The Single O was a “wow” coffee, and then Josh also gave me a sample of the S.O. "Decent Thai place in Canberra.Not too bad Thai place.They have seasonal menu as well.We had crispy beef salad. Great dish. Not too spicy at all. Very flavorful. Best dish out of three we had.Lamb curry was okay. Flavor was mild. Did not pop out to my standard.The sea food on the hot plate was not too bad. Even tho the plate was piping hot, I felt the sea food was just warm not that fresh to be honest.Good for week days take away.If you live around, make sure to try. But there is no need to drive all the way for it."

"We went there on a Saturday night recently. Despite wet weather and the holiday period the restaurant was quite crowded. Booking is definitely advised for Friday and Saturday night. The service was prompt and courteous despite the number of diners; the food very tasty for...a person not familiar with Japanese food. And the restaurant was well patronised by Japanese people. Definitely to be recommended."

"Putting Gungahlin on the map! The best patisserie in all of Canberra! I've visited a number of times and their breakfasts are like every other cafe. Their desserts are magnificent! Recommend: Caramel tarts, pecan tarts and macarons. The fruit tarts are cute. The Russian honey cake well homemade always tastes amazing but this one is pretty good too!"
