What Swiss Cabrio doesn't like about Zum Lamm:
The place is a reasonable accomodation (value for money) built into an old style building. It is very much family style, not commercial. The restaurant serves simple, but enough breakfast. No internet. The room was clean, bed sheets just fine, only the towels would suggest to bring your own. The area is very rural, lovely old town. Overall lovely place, but not for everybody. Bourgeois accommodation. In the city center, clean, friendly, helpful. Parking free. A small bottle of water in the room.
Somewhat old hotel one night is fine it is about 600 meters away from the Deutschmeisterhalle for a few hours of sleep.

Well, I was a guest in this house from March 1st, 2021 to March 19th, 2021. Unfortunately, there really isn't much good to report here. The innkeeper seems to have been a very good host, but the glamor of bygone days has given way to resentment and bitter circumstances. The premises are outdated instead. TV devices are old tube devices with 3 programs. The hotel offered us breakfast, it was the same sausage and cheese every day, which was supplemented with jam. Eggs coffee and cocoa were also available. That's it. The breakfast was okay, but variety would have been good. The location is great. The condition of the object seems very dusty and everything smells very old. The hotel is extremely dark inside, only every second lamp seems to work. The landlord made an effort to be friendly, but I always felt uneasy about the hotel. So to sum up: Old, getting old, no technology, little light and a lot of dust, boring breakfast and the constant feeling that something is wrong here. Oh yes and now after several nights it seems that I have bed bugs please on my stomach.
DANGER Check-ins must be adhered to, otherwise the booked room will be gone faster than you can say A . I advise against the hotel for anyone who is no longer living in the stone age. The host mobbed me, as I read in other reviews, I wasn 't the only one! Many greetings from the one who was allowed to look for another place to stay late in the evening in front of your locked door.
