Clearly the most popular place in town. We enjoyed the food here: especially the steak gorgonzola. Nice atmosphere as well.

"I came here twice in one week, once with my dad and once with a friend. I come to town once a year to visit and found this little gem had popped up in my absence......so I decided to check it out because when in...sardinia you MUST eat ! The restaurant is quite large with room inside for the winter and plenty room outside for the hot summer days, we sat outside to enjoy the breeze and ordered an apéritif followed by mix seafood starters that included tuna , skate, mackerel, baby squid, lightly curried octopus that was unexpected but rather nice. Everything was cooked perfectly although I do like more seasoning but that is a personal opinion and I cannot fault the chef for that. On to pasta dishes, fregola di mare, saffron and mussels pasta both perfect nicely seasoned and cooked al dente , nice generous portion also the guazzetto of clams and mussels was to die for and as usual I ended up eating a lot of civraxiu with the sauce. The main course was Ventresca or tuna belly very sought after in the realm of japanese food for its buttery and melt in the mouth texture, I ordered it cooked rare and it came out perfectly grilled soft and very tasty the colour was bright pink and I could tell it was very very fresh. Desserts, by this point I'm stuffed and nearly exploding but a slice of apple tart with almond was a must and again very nice with crispy pastry . Also the cocktail are very good I found out the manager has worked in london in a few very good restaurants and that explains the service's high standards , he went as far as to infuse his spirits with local aromats to use in his cocktails (very nice) In total the bill was around £30 euros per person which is very reasonable considering the quality and the fact you are eating fish, you could easily spend more depending on what and how much you drink. I had wine and apéritif and coffee both times. This is by far the best dining experience in town surpassing the rest of the restaurants in town because this place knows where it is and what it is , simple food with no fuss friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere at a approachable price for everyone, you could spend less elsewhere but it won't be this good"
