After spending hours exploring the castle (which we did just after lunch), we needed some refreshment and found this place across the street shortly before closing time. The server was friendly. The place was nice an had a small mount of nice seating in front facing the castle, giving a nice setting. We had good tea and excellent Victoria Sponge and Bakewell Tart. read more.

The restaurant is accessible and can therefore also be used with a wheelchair or physical disabilities, Depending on the weather, you can also sit outside and be served. WLAN is available for free.

Lovely coffee and cake Been coming for a long time, however was put off when I saw the staff stroking a dog and returned to food area without washing his hands. Has put ne right off read more.
