Finally ventured into the restaurant after years of saying we’d try it. Gutted now we waited so long. I had the salt and pepper squid..... wow! Beautiful. What User doesn't like about Jasmine:
The staff was friendly and the food was delicious, but unfortunately my experience was marred by the presence of a mouse running across the floor during my last visit. Not a pleasant sight. View all feedback.
Food was nice, plenty of it. Nice atmosphere. Best part of the visit was the service. The waitress was very friendly and she was knowledgeable about the food. Will visit again.

If you’re unlucky you will miss this place, it being at the top of Bangor and just out of the way from the main shops. But do yourself a favour and pay it a visit. The restaurant isn’t the most authentic Chinese I’ve eaten in,...but it’s immaculately clean and the Chinese food is the best in the area. I had a king prawn chow mein which was deliciously fresh and not the slightest bit greasy. My partner enjoyed the wanton noodle soup just as much. Can’t wait to go back and sample the dim sum.
I had the rice with Sichuan tofu, stir-fried pak choy, and warm lemon tea. The Sichuan tofu was delicious with its thick, hot gravy. Both dishes reminded me of the food from my home country, Malaysia, and how similar they tasted. The warm lemon tea was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and sourness. The bill came to pounds and the portions were generous enough to serve two people. As a student, I was able to pack up the leftovers for another meal in the aluminum foil container. Just make sure to bring your own bag as they only provide plastic ones. The waitress was friendly and accommodating, even providing me with password-secured WiFi when I expressed concerns about using the public network. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance with natural sunlight streaming in through the windows and warm yellow lighting. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
Doesn't score a Top marks on the Hygeine Certificate displayed in the window. Tasty food but stopped eating there due to sign in window saying Halal meat. I will not support that cruel method of slaughter
