I’ve only recently started eating fish chips as most of them just never tasted that good. However, this batch of freshly cooked F S changed my world. MrDW had the larger portion, I had the child’s as it’s all I can eat it was more than enough for me. Prices weren’t bad at all, its a nice clean place, staff were lovely. I’d highly recommend. What Liz W doesn't like about Nemo's Fish Chips:
OK it was 3pm on a rainy Monday, but the food was dreadful. The chips must have sat for hours and they didn't even refresh them in the fryer. Chewy, dry and inedible. A tiny portion £3.25! The curry sauce is an admirable attempt at flavour and spice but it is far too sweet! Very weird, couldn't eat it. My fish was OK but very small for the price. View all feedback.
A horribly rainy day just visited the castle but was delighted to see this chippy still open, jolly nice girl served , tasty chips thanks
Delicious scampi, tolerable haddock but most of the chips were so hard we couldn’t eat them: I suspect they were yesterday’s reheated. What a shame
