Great food and friendly staff. The seafood platter was enormous and would easily serve three. It beat my husband and daughter even with me helping a little! The fish finger sandwich was made with fresh fish goujons, none of your frozen fishfinger nonsense The Boatyard is located just a hop and a skip from the pier and the beer garden has a lovely view over the water. The first few reviews I read were not positive. The inside of the bar is very dated. Quiet lunchtime visit. Ordered at the bar and then started to go to the table. Was called back to pay before food was served. May have previously had some issues but could they not have waited and would possibly have bought more. Food was average but filled the gap.
