"Beautiful but fundamental. kingston house gives a stunning first impression. it is a classic, beautiful old home with immense charm and tasteful furnishings. I must say that the first impression was that he had set a high expectation and unfortunately the expectations were not fulfilled. with warm weather of gympie, the outside seats are most pleasant. but the food and service really leave it. "This place is a must. Credit to the team there for their magnificent service to the most beautiful food. Such a great atmosphere. Love the look of the restaurant too. <br>
They have a great array of cocktails ranging from about $14. The food is just beautiful. From tender chicken satay sticks with a sticky peanut sauce. To a crispy duck pancake which was executed beautifully. <br>
The stand out dish was the steamed barramundi in a black bean sauce. It was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. <br>
The Massamun lamb shank curry is also a must try. <br>
A very enjoyable dinner. I will definitely be back"

"I went here for the second time and was dissapointed with the quality of service and food. I ordered a wagyu beef pepper rice for the second time and got three very thinly slice pieces of beef with mostly rice on the hotplate!! And I called the waitstaff and ask why is it like that (while showing the difference from their beautifully presented picture of wagyu beef pepper rice on their menu) and she gave a bs excuse that they changed their supplier of meat I got so angry that I said I am not having it anymore even though I was starving to death waiting for it. It was not worth it for to have thinly tiny slice beef I think anyone will feel the same way I did!"

"Popped in for a takeaway lunch. Ordered the rice bowl set with Teri Teri chicken. This comes with sides of fried chicken, salad and miso soup. The sides and main were 'ok'. They do have a good offering of other items that seemed to be popular with those dining in restaurant, might try these next time as I wasn't a huge fan of the Teri Teri chicken."

"Food is great. Bit expensive but the portion sizes were decent. Unfortunately no table service and bar service feels a little awkward. Would definitely come back again though."
