"Everything was lovely. We had the lunch special of a main and a glass of wine for $25 and the dessert for $10. The food was outstanding. We both had mac nut crusted barramundi. I had the banana and mango steamed pudding and my partner had the chocolate fingers. All was superb."

"Some friends were taking me on a tour of the Mary River Valley area in the Gympie region of Queensland. This is a delightful cafe with good coffee and an interesting array of cakes and tarts. (It may well serve more substantial food: I can't be sure because I did not look past the cakes and tarts.) If you are thinking of sitting out the front of the cafe and one of the staff tells you that you should check out the seating out the back, you really MUST check out the back area. I shall leave the reason why as a pleasant surprise. When we visited a pony named 'Casper' was tied up outside. One knows one is in the country when there is a pony at the cafe.In summary, this cafe provides good coffee, good food, good service, great ambience and imagination. I highly recommend it if you find yourself in or near Amamoor."

"We had excellent service Valentines Night. The food was cooked for perfection. We split cheese bread for duck. We had surf grass for net. My husband rarely ordered medium and I ordered medium. Both cooked perfectly. Then chocolate larvae cake for dessert. We were rolling so full. The prices were extremely affordable and the meals were very generous. Beverage prices were also great. Very recommended."
