it is so wonderful to go hiking in Takao-san and a side of the soba restaurant menu is full vegan! we ordered the vegan bukkake toro soba (cold,) vegan sansai soba (cold,) and vegan sansai soba (hot.) it was really delicious and finally let us feel that we had the typical Japanese meal and a hiking experience. if only all the other hiking resorts vegan options provided!
