What Jennie H doesn't like about Tokyo Lobby:
First thing I'll say is: they have tons of choices and if you don't know what you want or like, you'll be with the menu for quite some time It was my second time coming here and there was literally no one in the restaurant at a Monday dinner time which was odd. Ordered the Bento Combo: Tempura Sashimi Teriyaki Chicken Comes with a bowl of rice, miso soup and salad Priced at $22.95 Teriyaki Chicken was not too sweet o... View all feedback.
This place used to be the family's spot for special occasions. I found it is still here. From what I can recall, the old owner had three restaurants. Two permanently closed accept for this one own by a different owner. He took off all the old decorations and brightened up the place. It looks good. Same chairs and tables, it looks like. It's a big restaurant so it fits lots of people. 85% of the restaurant was full. That's a good sign. I went on Sunday with some friends. The menu looks kind of the same. Big menu as usual. We ordered the classics. Special C. Chicken teriyaki with tempura, miso soup, bowl of white rice, and small salad. Overall, I liked the food. We all did. Price was reasonable. We had no leftovers. We ate it all. Props to the new owners. He mixed the new with the old. It brought back a lot of memories. I will be back and maybe I will see you there.
Came here with hubby today for reliably good food. I used to come here with my family growing up and always enjoyed a great meal at this restaurant. Through the years there has been a change of ownership, but the quality and service has remained. The menu is extensive . If you can 't find what you like , just tell the waiter if you can custom order what you want ask what the price may be though, before you place your order) ... Since it was just the two of us today , we decided on one of the specials . Both of us ordered the #5, which includes 10 piece cal roll ,1/2 chicken teriyaki 1/2 beef teriyaki , salad , miso soup and rice $19.99). It was delicious. Both meats were tender with generous amount of teriyaki sauce. Cal roll was great too with ample amount of crab and avocado piece on each bite! if you happen to come here with a larger party four or more) , I 'd strongly recommend one of the boats for sharing . Also , I like to get take out too!

You won't break the bank while indulging in your favorites. Service was excellent.
They still have the sushi boat, which has been around for many years. I honestly think this place always attracts customers. The sushi boat was pretty expensive and not something I'd consider order anytime soon. But it's still pretty good and the servers are good at serving their customers. They also keep the place clean. Definitely a great restaurant to get your sushi!

Ordered the Bento Combo: Tempura Sashimi Teriyaki Chicken Comes with a bowl of rice, miso soup and salad Priced at $22.95 Teriyaki Chicken was not too sweet or salty; it was just right Sashimi was fresh with big fat cuts The tempura was a bit disappointing though. The breading was too much so it was very heavy. Either they used the wrong breading or it just wasn't cooked thoroughly(? . Service was great (as we were the only ones there and vibe was chill and quiet which is nice for a change :
