"A great local cafe with lots of British stock including jaffa cakes, mince pies and bread sauce! If you like and are missing British food in Nova Scotia it's a great place to visit. They have a few tables so you can sit and eat. The service is very warm and welcoming. There is always a buzz about the place whenever I went in here. I would recommend trying their home made soups and sausage rolls. And you can't go wrong with a traditional British fry up breakfast with tea, which was cooked to perfection and something I had been missing since being in Canada."

"We stopped in at the bakery/deli on Canada Day and were not disappointed. The poutine was to die for and our boys gobbled up the grilled cheese sandwiches. We also indulged in Canada Day cupcakes and took home a few treats (particularly the key lime pie) and everything was just eye-roll delicious. It was a drizzly day and we took advantage of the lack of droves of people and sat under the outdoor tented area to eat our lunch, while our boys "performed" on the wooden "stage" and took in the gorgeous surrounding scenery. Great service, great food, great location."

"We have been several times before and post pandemic. cheachie is never impressing, it is the best Mexican food in halifax! we had several dishes, fish tacos, chicken enchiladas, chicken tacs and all are delicious with guaac, acidic cream and. mäuse biss zum salsa muy bien! they also make a great margarita salud!"

"The staff and food were equally outstanding. I don't normally think of going to Bayers Lake for dinner but on a suggestion we decided to go and we're not disappointed! The waitress gave some wonderful suggestions and it was delicious. We were a big group taking up two tables on a busy Saturday evening and she handled it with ease. It was also nice to see a restaurant with friendly hands on management. I would strongly recommend Moxies in Bayers Lake to anyone looking for a great meal with friendly service."
