Was in Hackettstown to throw away my daughter to watch her HS Basketball team at Centenary Univ. My son, together with this master plan, has conquered Marleys in place. What R A doesn't like about Marley’s Gotham Grill:
We’ve dined in several times and have always had a decent experience except for our most recent one. The server who’s name we intentionally did not care to remember- gal with jet black hair and glasses, is not very pleasant. She huffed and puffed when I had TWO questions about a sauce flavor and made condensing remarks. She made rude facial gestures when answering our question about a cocktail on their menu. We weren... Well, the wings are delicious and pretty full. I really didn't need the burger, but glad I tried. We went with the garlic parm and Knallbang wing. Perfectly cooked and they are not small. We asked for the most popular and garlic parmesan. Bang bang was like a honey mustard with Sriracha sauce. The garlic clove was with a lot of garlic. We also ordered the Texas Burger and NJ Steak Sandwich. Both were not disappointed. Great atmosphere with great American comfort food
Good grill. I ordered cheese curds and chicken wings. The wing-saucen menu can be overwhelming, so I just try to keep to the Star Ledger Picks it easy. Honeygrill and bang are both boneless. My friend got chicken salad and said it was delicious. Service was fast everyone here seems to want to make sure you have a good time.
Saw outside and had wings and salads. The wings were good! And also salad. Festive beer menu too. I definitely go back. Service was also good.
Friends and employees have often mentioned Marleys and their wings. So recently on my way home from Pennsylvania I decided to take Route 46 East home so I could drive through Hackettstown where it is located. It was in the afternoon before the school was out, so the traffic was not busy. Main Street is paid over a meter of parking, so I drove to the side street to find a place. They have a selection of 250 flavors. It's the dozen for a little under 18 dollars. A bit expensive, but the wings are pretty big. You have a choice either bone in or out. I'm a traditionalist, so bones for me. You also have the opportunity to get Split flavors. So I tried Honey Mustard and Sweet and Sour. Both were very good and fleshy. I liked the Honey Mustang more. I will definitely revise there if I am through the area in the future.
Marley's has an INCREDIBLE number of wing flavors to choose from, 250 at the time of this review! Mondays they have a special for buy one get one half off on bone-in wings for eat in only. The coconut curry wings are amazing. The cheese curds were delightful. I bet the rest of the menu is great too but I haven't put a dent in trying the wings. The dessert-like wings are great too! Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. For a limited time, street parking is free.
