This was not my first experience here so I can make a fairly good and accurate review of this place. The food is at best only fair with little spicing flavor also done very simplistically. I found in some dishes there were ingredients missing that would make the ordered item so much better but getting it without left it blaa. Maybe its alright in a pinch but that's about it. The shrimp egg rolls are delicious! Service was very quick. Only 10 minutes waiting. The place is clean and the lady taking my order was nice! The prices are reasonable and the food was great! Rating this for what it is, a fast Chinese takeout restaurant. Throughout my life I've lived in many different towns all with different spins on popular Chinese takeout. Some places I went back to, others I didn't. I was shocked at how good China Royale was and at least on par if not better than Chinese food establishments in what you may call the fancier towns I've lived. My favs are the Wontons in spicy sauce and the chicken with vegetables. Great spice, flavor and not too salty. Ive also tried different tofu dishes. All great. The people I deal with are always very kind. The portion for the price cannot be beat. Keep in mind this is a takeout restaurant, I'm not sure you can even eat inside. However, it's always been very clean and well organized. Next time you're hungover or eating your emotions, give China Royale a call!
Typical Chinese take out. Courteous counter help. Good sized portions. Ready pretty quickly.
