"Firstly this review is 100 genuine. I have been here lately with friends and found the restaurant to be very tastfully decorated to a high standard ....But....the prices are way too high. I found my sea bass dish too small for the high price. Until prices are realistic I wont be returning or recommending unfortunately."

"We had 2 orders from the train station indien portobello. order online was a piece of cake that was personal was so friendly when we collected, and eat ready and piping hot when it was expected. we had dishes, of which we have never heard, among them pineapple and discktikka, sweet katmandu, panir lemon chili and immunity veg (mild to medium Indian crumbled and honey) they were all very tasty perfectly cooked and not oily. the carnivore with us last night thought that lamb was also fantastic and we even found free popadomen with the orders! very appreciated! Unfortunately we are only temporary in edinburgh, from the ende november, but we hope that the next day we will have a final order from the station indien and now ask everyone to read this to do themselves and to treat ourselves to a meal from this wonderful take!"

"Brilliant local pub in Haddington. Great selection of beers on tap. Lovely, large beer garden out the back. Pizza's were delicious too. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Definitely a wee gem in East Lothian. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We have walked past this cafe numerous times and it’s usually busy so we end up going elsewhere . This time a Friday there was an empty table by the window so we went in and the staff sanitised it for us to sit at It’s very friendly and welcoming, comfortable, clean Covid safe . You order and pay at the counter and they then bring your order to the table . Husband had some soup apparently it was lovely I had a coronation chicken sandwich which was very nice and came with crisps and a bit of side salad . We ordered flat whites too and I was asked what size cup I’d like and how many shots ? I asked for the small size and 2 shots but it was actually quite a large cup . Depending how you like your coffee I think the barista there would make it exactly how you asked possibly can ask for a smaller cup for the flat white The coffee blend was very nice and they were happy to bring us glasses of iced water as well"
