"This restaurant is awesome! We paid around 150 Euro for two people and both had three courses. For drinks we only got one draft beer and one capuchino. Water was complimentary. If this is an acceptable price range you can expect a superior dining experience. We booked in advance which is probably necessary on most evenings and were met by a friendly yet professional staff. We selected a starter and a main course. We received complimentary, very cute looking small bread loafs with a creamy herbal butter which was an amazing appetizer. The starter was delivered fresh made within a few minutes. The food was exceptionally good and we enjoyed every single bite. The staff was very attentive without being intrusive and our table was cleared soon after we finished the starter and the main was delivered soon after. The starter had set a high bar and the main was of the same high quality. The plates carrying the food were casual and rustic and the food was arranged to please the eye. It simply tasted fantastic. We decided we had space for dessert and once again we were impressed how tasty and good looking the food was. Overall an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Reykjavik Kitchen to anyone looking for a local high quality meal served in a friendly environment and we hope to come again some time."

"This is a fun place! I was so excited that she also had my dinner gluten-free (I had the fish of the day). This is quite touristy, but my Icelandic friend recommended it so that I felt it was worth the stop! I want to go back."

"We needed a quick meal as we were booked on an evening trip and stumbled across this place. Absolutely fantastic burgers, you order at the bar and it took about 10-15 minutes but the food was exceptional. Highly recommend for a quick stop They have a live band and bar as well so not just a pit stop, will be back for more on our next trip"

"Nice café on the shore. We went by while snowing and looking for a lunch place, and we chose perfect! We only had hearty meals and based on it, would like to go back to taste the sweet things. We had the open sandwiches that are generous in size and taste great! The food was very fast and beautifully presented. All staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and warm. There was a nice atmosphere with the fireplace. You even have board games when you have time to sit longer."
