What Luke Hayward doesn't like about The Church Bistro:
Service was good but food was terrible pork fillet was bloody which when I ask to fix they took it and then overcooked it and my partners 45 dollar steak was blue we asked them to sort it so they took it back and over cooked it all till it was shriveled and burnt on puree kids meals were plain also Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$40–50 Food: 1 Service: 3 read more.

We had a lovely family night at the Church Bistro. Everyone enjoyed their meals from the well planned and interesting menu and the service could not be faulted.

"What an awesome place! Last time I was here was about 9 years ago and man the place has changed. Always had a nice feel but they have done extensive landscaping, adding in big double doors, funky decor and the food was excellent! We had the Bianca pizza white sauce, herbs and mozzarella, delish; Asian salad, amazing; salt and pepper Squid, cooked to perfection lovely and tender; chips and aioli were great but my fav had to be.the tomato, label,caramelized onions and crispy quinoa salad, great fresh produce, different and flavour was incredible! Cant wait to go back, thanks!"

"They offer vegan breakfast burrito and boron on toast options, plus they have vegan cakes and discs available in the cabinet. very friendly staff, plus there was a cute cat hanging around what a bonus was. a bit expensive, but there are not many vegan friendly places around so it was worth it."
