"My wife and I are regular buyers of the Fisherman 's Basket; with an additional piece of fish as that is sufficient for us both to have a satisfying meal for lunch, which is when we have our main meal of the day. The offering is consistently good, and sometimes there are chips left over for a sandwich in the evening. On other occasions, usually of an evening for a special occasion we buy other than the Fisherman 's Basket, with the pineapple fritters and home made potato scallops excellent. The quantity of potato chips when bought separately is generous . There are good fish and chip shops about, but this one meets our needs and these days this is the one we prefer."
