"Service was average nothing special but the meals we received were excellent. While I appreciate the fact that the gaming machines keep the place alive, maybe you could have spent a few less thousand on the pokie room upgrade and put it towards an upgraded Kids Room or anything that is better than the atrocity that is currently there. Service: 4"

"Disappointing experience overall. The first time we went it was during covid and was a poor experience. We gave the benefit of the doubt based on covid and returned recently after 2 years and it was just as poor as we recalled the first time, Infact worse. For a place that really only has steak on the menu (very limited menu, 5 options to choose from) you would expect they would know how to cook a steak??Medium rare rump cooked rare, Medium well cooked well over done and steak had no taste at all, Manager poor at fixing the situation.Steak served with a bunch of cheap friench fries and a bag of mixed lettuce, litterally. Option to buy sides , a plate of a carrots, truffle mash and onion rings. The Mash is amazing but the only thing worth ordering ! Sides came out mile's after the main and were originally forgotten about and not Evan cooked to come out with our main so were pointless. Food bill was split wrong and charged to the wrong people. No care from the staff, customer service was non existant, staff too busy to care. Not a enjoyable experience at all, we packed up our food and took home to the dogs, who enjoyed far more than any human!Wouldn't return ever ...worst experience ever."

"We ordered pretzels for entrees .Chewy outside with soft centres . Delicious. Although if your watching your salt then try something else maybe .Order the pork knuckle 24 hr ahead if you want one . I had one as my main meal & couldn't finish it all. Doggie bag home . Other couple shared theirs . One thing would say is with the salt on pretzel then on the pork for crackle latter that night found got was very thirsty . We booked for 6 pm Friday and space still available when we got there however by 7.30pm place very full & busy . We were served by an efficient ,friendly staff member. The German beer selection varied & they provided small tasting mugs to try if unsure of the beer . Just as well as my first selection wasn't to my taste . Place very clean with either inside or outside dining available . Will definitely go back as some of the other menu items look very tasty & what could be seen being served that night of reasonable size . Open for breakfast on weekends only ."

"We were here a few times and each time was quite busy, but eating is pleasantly fast and so fresh. I have eaten both the garden bowl (with added chicken) and the beetroot hummus with feta and also not disappointed! my only negatiw is that when we visited and took away our teller, we have never been asked if we want another coffee/drink. this is not a big thing, but would be an easy way to increase the sale, as we had happily had another drink we would have asked."

"Hey everyone hope everyone is ok. If you like fish and chips I wouldn't go to the fish and chips shop in raceview square as my friend and I got some on Tuesday for lunch and it was very oily and the fish was double cooked and we could not eat it we had to put it in the bin. I rang them and all they could say was sorry we can't do anything but if you brought it back on the day we could have got the money back. So I would not go there at all. Price per person: A$40–60"

"Amazingly quirky cafe in Fernvale serving great food, coffee and lots of baked goodies to tempt.. (next door to Lifeline). Even exchange books outside! Owners are warm and friendly and menu is reasonably priced. Call in for breakfast, lunch or coffee and something yum!!. Food is excellent.....plentiful, well presented and beautifully cooked.
