"I don’t get the big hype, since it’s recommended highly everywhere you look at. It’s a cute little place, the food is good, but not great. There are no starters on the menu, so you could try many things you would need to go for a main course. Rather smaller portions. It’s a good option to try, but don’t expect it to be amazing."

"If you want to avoid the mass feeding at the Uferhaus than this is the right place for you. BINDER has a really nice garden, really good fish dishes and every last thursday/month they have their own blood sausages, liver sausages, and so on. The service is quick and very friendly!"

"We managed to get a table here because they are famous for their free range geese. the restaurant was very busy. eating the goose is amazing! really crunchy and how freely rich animals should taste. there were noodles and a selection of white. or red cabbage, because not everyone likes the classic red cabbage. washed away with delicious local beer and wein from burgenland just heaven!"

"Vacationing in Vienna with 5 family members we went to Gottlesbrun because of it's emerging red wine reputation. Mrs. Netzl from Netzl vineyard referred us to this restaurant. Without a doubt this is one of the finest restaurants in lower Austria. We often eat at Steirerick in Vienna and this restaurant (in a country style) rivals it's big city cousin. The staff was gracious, even with our boisterous grandson, the food was local, professionally prepared and seasonal. One son asked for a wine tasting with his meal and the hosts placed 6 bottles of red wine on the table for him to taste. All in all one of the best meals of our two weeks in Austria. Highly recommend the town and this restaurant."
