"We booked last summer for the next day and the owner could book us. the restaurant is located in a beautiful, quiet place outside the main center and everything was beautiful. the food was delicious and well refined, the atmosphere very relaxing and the owner very friendly. a great place to try in hakodate!"

"A good pick for your stay in Hakodate. The restaurant was easy to find once I used the directions posted in another user’s review. Don’t follow the Happy Cow map — it’ll take you to Hakodate City Hall I posted some photos to help first-timers locate it. I got the veggie set meal (about 2,000 yen), which included tempura, pickles, a few small dishes of other veggies, miso soup and brown rice. See posted photo. It was great, and filling. I left very satisfied. The host was really nice. Talked to me for awhile after my meal, and gave me a map of other vegetarian restaurants in Hakodate. I would eat here just to support her, to be honest. Doesn’t hurt that I loved the food, too."

"A unique burger restaurant. Taste of chicken karaage so nice. Love the (pork cutlet) burger too and reasonable price. But unfortunately the staff ask me to order first when i asked to go to toilet."

"SUPER authentic Japanese Yakiniku experience here! No English menu or any English in the restaurant, but we took the chance and tried to find out things and it was ALL WORTH IT! The Japanese lady waitress who spoke a little English was also super helpful! Super good service and even better food! Prices are also very reasonable. If you are in the area and are willing to try the unknown (no English guide), then you are for a treat!"
