"We have had wonderful meals at the restaurant before Covid. Tonight, we ordered a take and bake lasagna. To our surprise, this lasagna was the first takeout meal that our three guests and I felt is better than our own homemade lasagna. The lasagna was...al dente, just the right texture. There was a generous amount of exceptional, flavourful, provolone and ricotta cheeses and just the right amount of meat. The Béchamel .sauce was superb. Who knew gourmet takeout could be excellent and reasonably priced."

"My waitress was one of the best I’ve ever had… and as a salesman that travels across Eastern Canada, I was really impressed! (I had to mention it to her) she said it takes two to tango and appreciated the compliment, but I was being honest and this was what prompted me to leave a review. The team worked well together, and everything was on point! Everything from welcoming, to menu selection and recommendations, and toping off my drink and making sure everything was being experienced as it should. "Walked in.. table for 2 in the back where it's quiet and private. Beef tenderloin and pickle brined chicken were both amazing. The server was great. The drinks were great. It was our anniversary and the server brought us desert on the house. It's definitely pricier than most in halifax but the food is amazing. With the building being a historical property and very old.. the setting is very nice. Only drawback was seeing a fine fury friend scurey across the floor... but to be fair the building is a couple hundred years old."
