"Large bakery with lots of imported foods. A few loaves of bagged , unappetizing bread. A display window with loads of dry sweets. Decided to try 2 types of baklava, walnut and pistachio. Shocked when 2 small pieces (1.5 inches by 3 inches came to $5!? Service was not good but I would say it was due lack of english, not due to being unfriendly."

"My three brothers and I were up in Nova Scotia and we were feeling bagel deprived and needed to start our last day there with a decent bagel. We checked out Trip Advisor and even though we were about twenty minutes from Izzy's, we decided to see if Izzy's lived up to the great reviews in Trip Advisor. It definitely did and we were thoroughly pleased. The everything whole wheat bagel surpassed expectations and was a bagel variety that none of us had seen elsewhere. there is a very wide of cream cheese spreads and comfortable seating So if you are craving an outstanding bagel, make your way to Izzy's."

"Tiny portion of lamb, 4 pieces, which considering the price was disappointing. Chicken kebabs were dry. 1st time we ordered the Balaklava but it wasn't ready so they gave us 11 dollar two bite brownies from superstore instead. Second time we ordered Balaklava but it was rolled instead of a square? It was covered with cheap fake sugary strawberry sauce instead of the normal sauce, not as advertised on the website."

"We 've had meals from this place so many times, we would be buying stock if this restaurant ever went public. Kefta, kebabs, moussaka, salads, kunefe--we 've never been disappointed. Our favourite items are probably the Arnavut Cigeri (lamb livers with a really good dressing on the onions--and I 'm someone who doesn 't like raw onions! ; the lamb kofte kebab (one time we didn 't order enough and we actually fought over this; there was an icy exchange between two of us for the next 24 hours ; and the hummus with minced meat. Service was friendly and attentive, and we liked the open kitchen, where we could watch the chefs, who seemed attentive to their customers themselves. A nice view of the basin as well, makes this overall a great place to be."

"My wife I went to the pub last night with 2 other couples. We usually eat here on average once every 2 to 3 weeks. We were disappointed to learn they removed the waffle fries from the appetizers. This item was probably the thing that brought us to EM to eat more than anything else. My wife ordered the Chipotle Nachos it was tasty, but not even close to the waffle fries as an app. Very little cheese on the nachos, more sauce. We wouldn’t order it again. I had the Cod dish with fries. Nice tasting, but portion size for the Cod was disappointing. I wouldn’t order that again either. In this day an age of lots of choices to eat, I would be careful on turning away customers because of changes /or reducing food portion size. I said I won’t return anytime soon. They have live music here every Fri/St evening. Music was very good."
