What User likes about Forbidden City Restaurant:
Forbidden City, located just off Spring Garden Road, has some of the best food I have eaten in a long time - and at the right price. Huge portions of everything you order. The place is a favorite of Chinese students. I have ordered from both the Canadian and Chinese menu. My favorite is the curry vegetables. What User doesn't like about Forbidden City Restaurant:
They have consistently gotten my order wrong and most recently have been 45 minutes late (and counting) with my order. They often deliver my order in a dripping, Styrofoam container, in a dripping wet paper bag. I am done with Forbidden City Restaurant. I am going somewhere that values my business.. The closest and most authentic Chinese food I could find near Dalhousie University.
Decent authentic Chinese but certainly not gourmet to justify the very high prices! $83 for three modest dishes and two beers.
