What User likes about Fredies Fantastic Fishhouse:
This is an awesome place to get fresh yummy fish and chips in Halifax. The staff is always friendly, and helpful. The Bayers Lake location is not huge, but alot of people just do take out. It's reasonably priced, but the fish is greasy, batter not to thick, and fries are great as well. Give this place a try. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Fredies Fantastic Fishhouse:
Food was over cooked. Fish was old expected flakey fresh product. Wife had a lobster if you removed the lettuce all you had left was a bun with mayo. Lobster was basically non existent. Served in a hot dog bun would have expected better. View all feedback.

read moreA Newfound gem in Truro, Freddie's Fish & Chips impresses with delicious seafood, friendly service, and a convenient location. While the Newfie fries may not have hit the mark, the fish and clams were top-notch. The lobster roll received mixed reviews, but overall, the food was tasty and made to order. The staff's attentiveness and hospitality left a lasting impression on diners. The crispy fish and chips, seafood chowder, and coleslaw were also highlights. Despite some minor issues, such as the plastic cutlery, Freddie's Fish & Chips remains a highly recommended spot for a satisfying meal in a cozy, family-owned setting.
