Subway - Halifax

The Subway restaurant where I had lunch was extremely dirty. The dining room was disgusting and appeared to not have been cleaned in quite some time. The condiment stations were messy and looked like they had not been attended to for months. The pickles even had olives in them and the salad bar had flies in it. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We visited this restaurant several times and really enjoyed their menu offerings. One of our favorite picks was the Subway sandwich.

The meatball sandwich was served cold and lacked flavor, making it a forgettable dish. It's not worth trying again, especially when there are better options at nearby restaurants.

We eat here sometimes when we are in halifax and in the bayer’s lake. Eating is always fresh and good and service is generally good. we like subway as healthier choice to eat quickly. we were there a few times when the tables had used a little more attention to cleaning.

We were in a hurry and needed to have a quick lunch as we had so many things on our agenda, so our 15 year old daughter (who loves Subway) begged to go here. Little did we know how impressed we would be! They had...large posters advertising both their lobster salad and their lobster sub. I had the salad and my 18 year old son had the sub. The sub was the best lobster roll on the East Coast and my salad was to die for good. I could pick out all my ingredients which were put into a large bowl along with a generous portion of lobster (you could specify if you wanted it cold or hot) and then it was all chopped in the bowl along with a vineagrette (or dressing of your choice) If I ever go East again, I will be sure to stop by a Subway and get another lobster salad.
