"I'm truly upset with this establishment. The food was so good that I gorged myself! Got the ultimate and donair wraps along with Caesar salad and fries. It was split between myself and my wife. The cheese on the sauce and the Caesar salad dressing is on another level. This will be my first stop whenever I'm in Halifax."

"Izzy's probably makes the best bagels "east of Montreal" as they say. Lots of different options and always freshly baked. Have one with a coffee or tea. The have a few others options too, like soup."

"Lovely spot and great service but the food was mediocre at best. Over cooked eggs. boring deep fried homefries, and a fruit salad that looked a lot like food service diced melons it's summer on the east coast. local produce, please or at least some thing else with the melon. The biscuit was nice but the laughable amount of whipped butter in a 2 oz cup was annoying, I get food costs but that is just beyond cheap ( it was a 2 oz container with barely a smear of butter on the bottom). At $6 - $7 it would have been OK, we left hungry after spending $70 for 4 of us."
