Love going to the Lonsdale, especially using a shop-a-docket voucher. Last week ventured out last week for another meal. Had the mixed grill and hubby had the seafood basket. Enormous meals. The staff and service were pleasant enough...the meal was very disappointing...two fillet steaks even though they were cooked Medium, were tough,chewy with grissle and very fatty...one had a "seafood" topping ($7 extra) and consisted of a watery garlic sauce and THREE prawns...the other had a Mushroom sauce with gravy you could slice and smooshed mushrooms...the veggies were over cooked and luke warm....the deep frie... I wasn't for 18 months, but as usual, eating is fabulous and the staff great. it was packed today, but we couldn't fail anything, my seafood platter was nothing...
read morethe first time visited and it was worth it. the best chicken carving I've ever had! side the veggies was also perfect!
