Surprised to have such good coffee, cake and brunch in the depth of the forest of Grampians.
On mini-cation to Halls Gap
We visited this tasty cafe for breakfast several times during our stayWe found the coffee to be tasty and had yummy, hearty breakfasts.

"We came here to have dinner and sample their beers. The better half had the special, chicken sweet corn soup. It had excellent flavour and was chunky. I had a fried buttermilk chicken burger with chips. Not a huge menu but I guess this will come along. Beers on the other hand were rippers!!! I could have settled in. 8.5/10"

"One of the gem in Halls Gap. Aunthetic Indian restaurant with very friendly staff. Fast sercive and delicious food. Will definitely recommend to those who are visiting Grampians.Vegetarian options: Being vegetarian, we ordered only vegetarian food and it was just to die for."

"Disgusting and disgraceful! Filthy, disgusting and dusty room and bathroom. Thick layer of dust sitting on every surface. Animal hair can be found on carpet and clearly the carpet was not vacuumed. TV remote control got stains all over and sticky to touch. Mould on tile grout in shower, exhaust fan covered by thick layer of dust. Out of part of the stainless steel bin covered by grime. Dated room and bathroom. Advertised room with mountain view but no view from room. Provided feedback to manager owner who remained silent with no apology and simply claimed the room was cleaned daily. Extremely poor cleaning standards. Clearly COVID-safe cleaning practise is NOT in place. Extremely disgraceful. Will NEVER come back and would NEVER recommend this filthy place to anyone. Note: We even cancelled the on-site restaurant booking as we can't trust their restaurant's hygiene standards. Wifi is extremely slow !"

"This place is great. We've been here twice and we were very impressed both times. Friendly and helpful service, excellent modern menu. Lots of GF options. Loved my sweet corn and potato chowder yesterday with locally made gluten free toast. The soup was thick, rich and delicious! My partner had a sweet potato flat bread which he enjoyed very much. Lovely atmosphere and the cafe is set back off the main street. Excellent local produce and pre cooked meals available to purchase. The cake cabinet is always full of delicious treats!"
