Lovely meal at Chutney Blue this evening. Although the restaurant area is small, there was a nice atmosphere. We had the 'special ' 4 courses plus rice and naan. Great value and tasty food. View all feedback.
What AJCheshire doesn't like about Chutney Blue:
Ordered online for a home delivery and the website advised there was a 65 minute delivery time. Had to ring up the restaurant after 80 minutes to be advised food on the way. It arrived another 15 minutes later, cold and only just about edible! We have to say the delivery driver is a regular and is very nice but I was not amused and very reluctant to use this service again View all feedback.
I ordered takeout and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive, and it was cold when it did. I understand it was a Saturday night, but that was still too long. I reheated it in the microwave with no issues, but unfortunately the food was tasteless and bland. The Paratha was doughy and not flaky at all. I didn't end up eating it, so it was a waste of money at £36. I won't be ordering from there again.
I live behind Chutney Blue and the aroma coming from the restaurant is incredible. I love to sit in my garden and enjoy the delicious scent of the food.
I should have gone to Wetherspoons. I ordered chicken Korma and chicken tikka masala. The korma was bland with not enough cream, and the tikka tasted like eating chicken in a can of condensed tomato soup. The staff were ignorant and unhelpful. I will not be returning. If you want a curry, you can get a better one from Asda, and that's saying something.

AVOID!!!!!! The worst curry I have ever had! Didn't help that it took 1 hour and 40 minutes to come and it was freezing. Spice of India down the road is 100% better and would recommend.
