"We've recently moved to the Runcorn area from South Liverpool. Visited Society after a meal at an Italian spot (another good review) and were delighted.The place had a great vibe going into it, getting even better when greeted at the small bar area by lovely staff members. The clients were varied (younger locals through to older) and the decor was great. We thought it could get a bit crammed when things get busier but found that there is a large external area and additional seating inside also!Drink selection was good, food looked amazing (we'll be back to try that for sure). In our opinion, this is the place to go in Runcorn for people that are looking for an alterntive to the local Spoons or Green King."

"Longer but very honest review of our beautiful dining experience. for the first time on Friday, the 15th juli, visited the birthday of my other half and was very impressed by the quality of the food as well as the service of the employees! when we arrived, we were quickly shown to our stand (stunning decoration btw! not long after that our drinks orders were picked up shortly after our eating order. before taking our food order, we were made aware that there was a big party in the cup area that could mean a slight delay compared to ordinary service. despite these informations it was not long before our ancestors arrived. we had ordered 3 between us; but only two arrived. we were asked if we need anything else, so I mentioned the 3rd starter. there was a kind of mix-up and it was not prepared. do not let them put this out, because mistakes can happen everywhere, it is how they are rectified that tells them a lot about a place. we ate the 2 starters we were served, and then the 3rd one arrived. the waitress apologised for the mix and told us that we were not charged for the starter we had to wait for. I thought that was a very nice gesture. we had not complained in any way or suggested that we were not happy, it is only possible to show how a restaurant they want to keep their customers happy. all 3 starters were delicious. our tellers were cleaned and we were told that there would be a 10-minute waiting time on our net, as the chefs just finish the orders for the big party. again that I liked it very much. the main thing were absolutely delicious and generous portions! I have seen some negative comments about this place, not with a dessert menu that I think unfair. No, they have no menu, but they offer desserts and all waiters/waitresses will tell them quite happy what is available. we didn't get desserts, as we already fought to end the main thing, but the ones we saw that we were serving looked amazing. overall we had a nice visit. we spent about 2 hours here and will definitely be back!"

"I went with a friend for lunch and really enjoyed the meal. Each dish was beautifully presented with a great variety of exciting flavours and made with fresh ingredients. Beautiful building and decoration and very professional, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. The lunch menu was very good value for money for the quality of the food offered. "What an absolute delight it was to dine here !! Went with my partner, 31st July 2021 5pm and we both absolutely loved it . The staff are amazing and go above and beyond with their service . I had wontons , he had hot and sour soup , and for main I had beef in green peppers with fried rice and he had chow mein with salt n pepper chips absolutely delicious , can't recommend this place enough !!"

"I'm so glad I found this sweet jewel of a caffe. first, the coffee is amazing. but what is probably more amazing is probably the familiar atmosphere. they are very warmly welcomed by the owner. when they go up, they know that the caffe actually looks and feels like someone (very geeky) living room. they can come here with their children and play board games or with their friends to hang and play retro video games. I also ordered breakfast here and not only was it very tasty, but also very cheap."
