Always a Pleasure to return to Northallerton, not just for the Joe Cornish Gallery (see separate review). Morning coffee taken at the High Street Caffè Nero. Short queues, good service and delicious Cortado (with premium Peruvian coffee). Ditto Cappuccino with Soya Milk. And two of the freshest Pain au Chocolat we can recall eating. The visited started well, our little dog was welcome. Being vegetarian we were delighted to see a veggie sausage roll. My wife ordered one. It arrived at our table in a brown paper bag, on opening it this was not what we ordered. My wife went to take it back and seeing the guy who served her commented that this was the wrong item before continuing to the counter. The guy then turned to a nearby table and said she ask... Went midday on a May Saturday for an iced drink The shop has run out of ice and no made or obtained any more. Left without a drink, unlikely to return.

The restaurant also provides suitable seating for its smallest guests in the form of baby high chairs, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables. If the weather are right, you can also eat and drink outside, and there's a counter where you can sit and eat.
