Stopped for lunch on our way back from York birds of Prey, we found this little gem by chance and so glad we did. Very friendly and welcoming pub, great menu choice, I chose vegetarian lasagne and my partner chose the steak and ale pie, both meals were absolutely delicious and obviously cooked with good quality ingredients. Highly recommend just a shame we live so far away to be able to visit again! View all feedback.
What K Lo doesn't like about The Angel:
Young, unprofessional staff. Barely looked at or acknowledged on entrance and didn't bother to say anything about only accepting cash, until after ordered and pint half poured. Didn't offer any explanation or apology and just scoffed and eye rolled and ignored and continued conversation with young friend at the bar View all feedback.
Easingwold is a beautiful market town with beautiful places to eat and drink, excellent small unusual shops with various were for sale. large bus service to york and other cities and villages near. everyone friendly would definitely recommend a visit.
Wow. perfectly cooked fresh veg. meat juicy and super homemade yorkshire puddings and homemade engraving. no frozen mash on the plate. well recommended
This pub is fab! the food is made too home and beautiful! great value too. the public and the staff are very friendly and they all love dogs, so it is a great place to go. I would recommend it to everyone. enjoy
