A delightful little cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and snacks. All the food we tried on our multiple visits was lovely, fresh and tasty. Their cakes are wonderful, and the quality of their coffee was good. The service was a little slow we found, but...we think there was a new employee serving so perhaps that would account for the delays, but the food more than made up for that. View all feedback.
What Marius Bock doesn't like about Amber Café:
On one of our many walks in the area, we ended up here for a good cup of coffee and a yummy chocolate bar the range of ordinary and peaceful environment but not excel in any way. a sense of local character than...any for the tourists. View all feedback.
We came across this cafe while walking the city. It is a lovely little cafe with good food and nice bakery. The staff very helpful and attentive. We tried their cabbage soup, a beautiful pretzel and a salad. All were tasty and reasonably priced. We...would go back here again. Seems locals go to this little place, or at least the folks did not seem touristy (like us). I recommend you try it for a quick bite!

Directly opposite the Madison Hotel and ideally located for breakfast or afternoon tea. Lovely selection of coffee, pastries and cakes.
We shared a bockwurst mit brötchen (sausage and bread), and scramble egg with ham. Simply delicious. With a big cup of Americano and a bottle of apple juice it’s E14.50. Quite okay and good. Service was good, fast, and friendly.
Enjoyed a buffet breakfast here, well worth the money, meats, cheese, breads, fruit, yogurt, coffee and fresh orange juice. They also sell a large selection of savoury and sweet pastries and cold filled bagels/breads.
