"The alexandros is a beautiful place that lies directly on the busy mönckebergstraße in hamburg's city center and is perfect for a small break during your shopping, sightseeing or working day! the restaurant offers a business lunch per day (you can check the menu online or by phone)....We were there for an afternoon tea. the place is so beautiful and comfortable they want to stay all day, it feels like it would be in a living room from a long way period. the small restaurant has only one room with a handful of tables. it is decorated with lots of love to detail from its owner, alexandros. he alone is worth the visit: born to be hostess, always beautiful and welcoming, they immediately feel comfortable. you could say that he loves historical tea sets (china, silver, they call it, it is there), as eating is served on this beautiful table. we had afternoon tee with port (sandwiches, scones, cookies, tee and of course a glass port that was left the bottle on our table for refilling. the restaurant was earlier a bookstore and some furniture and beautiful things were held by the owner. so they can read books or check historical toys etc. there is also a regal to buy with things: Greek olive oil, tee, sweets etc. since alexandros seems to know all his guests, at some point we have all spoken together and had a nice time. prices are not cheap, but reasonable, eating is freshly prepared, the atmosphere is simply beautiful. we will return very soon!"

"This was a very good food experience at a very favorable price for a competitive high-end menu in a friendly ambience. We tried all the appetizers, I was mainly taken by the grilled Calamari and the Ceviche, not too crazy about the Tatar. The fellows at my table had the Dorade and the Risotto with Prawns and I also heard good things about them. I went for the raised oxen cheek that are the backs of the oxen. This was a delicious piece of meat, extremely delicate and tasteful, with a green mae potato better than any mae potato I had. Your cream brulee is worth a try. The service was a little slow."
