This small hotel is situated about 20 km north of the centre but still witin Hamburg. Nice clean and with a good breakfast - and where can you get a room with a view to a small pasture with donkeys? It is a bit out of the way so you need a car a public transport will not work. View all feedback.
This is a nice traditional German restaurant with delicious schnitzels and also other good food. Good service and a nice atmosphere
Was here with my colleagues who had highly recommended it. The place didnt seem to have changed over decaded which added to the charm. Ordered recommended dishes and the local beer. Couldnt get enough and i was over stuffed. I got what I wanted ...authentic German food and beer !!! Part of a quaint hotel and away from the humdrum, its a good place for a quiet meal
While walking along the Alster path we looked for somewhere to have lunch. Arriving without reservation, with dirty shoes, with a dog was no problem, friendly welcome. We ordered from the lunch menu. The parsnip soup was the best I ever had, not just sweet,...possibly with apple. As our mains my friend had goose liver which came with potato mash, both plentiful. Some veg wouldn’t have gone amiss. I had belly pork and cabbage which was nice but the portion was on the small side. It‘s a gem of a restaurant, a bit out of the way but worth making the journey to. I will definitely be back!
